Sharing is caring as they say. So I'll be dishing out some basic make up discoveries that I know. Just for the hell of it because I am a make up whore like that. On to the topic at hand then...

Make Up Discoveries 101: For The Make Up Whore's In All Of Us!

1. Vincent Longo's Foolish Virgin & Clinique's Black Honey are possibly the best lipsticks out there. (Trust me people - they are THAT good.)

2. Delux Beauty lip gloss's are small but they pack a hella lot of punch.

3. Less is more - seriously never cake on makeup so it looks like your wearing a mask.

4. Match foundation & powder to skin tone for god's sake! Don't go thinking you can be a little darker or lighter with both because it just won't work. And besides do you really want to look like one of those chicks?

5. Always moisturize lips before applying lipstick or lip gloss. Better yet, when you first start putting on your make up dab some lip balm on your lips first. It'll leave your pucker smooth and supple and ready to get smooched. (That is if you want to be smooched.)

6. Use an eyelash curler. And no it's not a torture device. It won't hurt you so don't be such a pussy. Before using it remember to warm it up a little. You can use your hairdryer for a few seconds on it. And then once curled - presto! Your eyelashes will remain curled for a hella long time. (When you add mascara to that your lashes look full and soft.)

7. The smaller the mascara wand the less the lashes. The fuller the wand the fuller the lashes. Don't keep re-coating the lashes! Nothing scares people away like those Tammy Faye eyelashes.

8. If you don't have blush with you then you can always dab some lipstick to the apple's of your cheeks to create some hue. Try pink or red. Don't put on to much. The key is blending it in. Works in a pinch.

9. No eyeshadow? Dab a little gloss or lipstick to your fingers and smear it over your eye lid a little. Doesn't need to be a lot - just make sure your adding some faint color.

10. Better applying stuff with your fingertips rather than brushes or sponges. You feel more with your fingertips. Then again let it be said that a good brush set also can take you a long way. Start small then take the baby steps towards the brushes. They do pay off and aren't just another make up indulgence.

11. Glitter's & shimmer's work. If you want to be hoochie like add it to the cleavage (there's no shame in your game honey - I do it and it works.) Add shimmer to your cheek bones near your temples and you will look all dewy like and glam.

12. When you line your eyes with a powder it always stays on longer and doesn't budge much. Of course a pencil is always a good thing to have. It's quick & smudgeable.

13. Like your lips, always moisturize before applying any make up to your face.

14. And lastly make sure to wash your face when your day is done. You don't want to sleep with make up on your face. It's the worst thing you could do for your skin.

There really was no point for this entry other than babbling on about make up which is something I am fond of doing. Oh well. Hey at least I shared some of my make up secrets. Not that they are big secrets or anything, I'm sure any make up whore out there knows the same thing. Still it's nice for anyone who might not know. So enjoy.

Later...
